Halli Galli is a fast-paced action game in which players track down exactly five sets of fruits. The board contains 56 playing cards showing the four types of fruit in groups of 1 to 5 and a bell of the type found in the hotel lobby. The board is distributed equally among the players. All players hold their board and deal cards in turn. When each player has revealed their next card and when you see a total of five of the same kind of fruit on the table, ring the bell. If you are correct, you take all the cards drawn and place them on your board. If you are wrong, you give one card to the other players. When you run out of cards, you are out of the game. Finally, two players remain and play until the bell rings again, then the game ends and the highest board wins.

Note that fives can be played both when cards are revealed and when they are covered. If, for example, the 3, 1, and 4 banana cards are revealed on the table and 3 other fruit cards are hidden, five bananas will suddenly appear and some player better get to the call in time.
