Data processing - any operation performed on data, including collection, retrieval, access, photographing, video monitoring, and/or audio monitoring, organization, grouping, interconnection, storage, modification, recovery, retrieval, use, blocking, deletion, or destruction, as well as disclosure of data by transmission, publication, dissemination, or making it otherwise accessible;
The data subject (hereinafter referred to as the User) - any natural person whose data is being processed;
Consent of the data subject (User) - the freely and clearly expressed will of the data subject, after receiving the relevant information, to process data about them for a specific purpose, expressed actively, in writing (including electronically) or orally;
Data controller - a natural person, legal entity, or public institution that determines the purposes and means of data processing individually or together with others and carries out data processing directly or through a person authorized for processing;
Data processor - a natural person, legal entity, or public institution that processes data for the data controller or on their behalf. A person in a labor relationship with the data controller is not considered a data processor; for the purposes of this document, «Mercury Delivery» LLC (a limited liability company established under Georgian law, identification code: 405430500, registered: Georgia, Tbilisi, Saburtalo District, S. Tsintsadze Str. №43b, 4a) is also considered a data processor;
Third-party - a natural person, legal entity, or public institution, except for the data subject, the personal data protection service, the data controller, the data processor, the special representative, and the person authorized to process data by the direct assignment of the data controller or the data processor;
Direct marketing - the direct and immediate delivery of information to the data subject by phone, mail, email, or other electronic means to form, maintain, realize, or support interest in a natural person and/or legal entity, goods, ideas, services, work, and/or initiative, as well as image and social topics.

CONSENT

Using the Veli.store website is considered as the User’s consent to the Privacy Policy. Accordingly, the User grants Veli.store the right to process, store, and use the personal information provided by the User.

This information will be used by Veli.store to provide services in accordance with applicable laws. Otherwise, Veli.store is unable to provide any kind of service to the User or enter into a contractual relationship.

BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING

USER RIGHTS

The User has the right to request the following information from Veli.store regarding data processing:

What data about the User is processed by Veli.store;
The purpose of data processing;
The legal basis for data processing;
How the data was collected/obtained;
To whom the User’s data was disclosed, the basis and purpose of such disclosure (if applicable);
Information on the data retention period or the criteria for determining it;
Information about automated processing, including decisions made as a result of profiling and the logic used to make such decisions, as well as the impact of data processing and the expected/probable outcome of processing;
The right to access data and receive a copy;

The User has the right to receive the above information no later than 10 working days from their request. This period may be extended by no more than 10 working days in exceptional cases and with proper justification, of which the User will be immediately informed.

Due to the specific nature of Veli.store’s activities, User notifications are carried out electronically.

Within 10 working days from the submission of the request by the User, Veli.store is obliged to correct/update/complete any incorrect/inaccurate/incomplete data about the User or inform the User of the grounds for refusal of the request and explain the procedure for appealing it.

The User has the right to request Veli.store cease, delete, or destroy the processing of their data (including profiling). Within 10 working days of the User’s request, Veli.store is obliged to cease/delete or destroy the existing data about the User or inform the User of the grounds for refusal of the request and explain the procedure for appealing it.

In case: the User disputes the authenticity or accuracy of the data; the data processing is unlawful, but the User opposes its deletion and requests the blocking of the data; the data is no longer needed to achieve the purpose of processing, but the User needs it to file a complaint/claim; the User requests the cessation, deletion, or destruction of data processing and the review of this request is in progress; there is a necessity to retain the data for use as evidence; the User has the right to request Veli.store to block the existing data about them. The User has the right to receive information about the decision made regarding the blocking of the data or the grounds for refusal of the data blocking immediately upon the decision, but no later than 3 (three) working days from the request. In addition to data storage, Veli.store may process it in the following cases: with the User’s consent, to substantiate a legal claim or defense; to protect the interests of Veli.store or a third party and in accordance with the law to protect the public interest.

In case the User consents to the processing of their data for one or more specific purposes and/or data processing is necessary to fulfill an obligation under a contract with the User or to enter into a contract at the User’s request and/or the User has given written consent for the processing of special category data for one or more specific purposes (if applicable); they have the right to receive the data they provided to Veli.store in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request the transfer of this data to another data controller.

The User has the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning them, except when the decision based on profiling: is based on the User’s explicit consent; is necessary for entering into or performing a contract between the User and Veli.store; is authorized by law or under a regulatory act issued within the scope of authority delegated by law.

The User has the right to withdraw their consent given to Veli.store at any time and request the cessation of data processing and/or the deletion/destruction of processed data by contacting Veli.store’s support team via email. In such a case, Veli.store will cancel the User’s personal account and cease data processing and/or destroy the processed data within 10 (ten) working days unless there is another basis for data processing. Before withdrawing consent, the User has the right to request and receive information from Veli.store about the possible consequences of withdrawing consent.

The User is entitled to contact the Personal Data Protection Service or the court in case of violating the rights provided by the Law of Georgia on «Personal Data Protection.»

USER’S OBLIGATION

The User is obliged to provide Veli.store with complete and accurate information about themselves to receive services. This obligation also extends to changes in the information provided by the User.

CALL CENTER

For the purpose of improving the quality of service at Veli.store, addressing issues/faults, providing feedback, and ensuring security, incoming and outgoing calls are recorded, stored, and processed.

TERMS OF USE THE VELI.STORE WEBSITE

By using the Veli.store website, the User consents to the storage and processing of his/her personal data and cookies by Veli.store.

The User is obligated to provide Veli.store with complete and accurate information and to update the information he/she have provided in case of changes.

MINOR

Veli.store is unable to verify the authenticity and accuracy of the information provided by the User, including the User’s age. If it becomes known that the information provider is not of legal age, Veli.store is authorized to disregard the information provided by the minor. If you become aware that a person registered on Veli.store is not of legal age and does not have the consent of their legal representative to use the website, please notify us of this.

WHO WE SHARE USER DATA WITH

Personal data is shared with partner courier service companies, specifically with «Mercury Delivery» LLC (a limited liability company established under Georgian law, identification code: 405430500, registered in Georgia, Tbilisi, Saburtalo district, S. Tsintsadze Str. №43b, 4a), which ensures the delivery of purchased products to the address specified by the User. The partner courier service company receives the following information about the User: order details, name, surname, address, and contact number. The information provided to the partner courier company is used solely for the purpose of delivering the purchased products.

Sharing of the User’s personal data may be necessary in cases provided by the current legislation of Georgia, for the purpose of detecting, investigating, or preventing a crime.

In line with the User’s interests, Veli.store, with the User’s consent, may use the User’s personal information, specifically their name and email address/phone number, for direct marketing purposes, to provide advertising materials, services, products, and to improve the quality of service.

Veli.store is authorized to share personal information with any third party in cases provided by the current legislation of Georgia.

When you use the AI preview, the photo you upload is handled by a tool called Nano Banana from Google Gemini. Veli.store saves your photo for up to one month to help improve the service and check its quality.

CONSENT/WITHDRAWAL REGARDING DIRECT MARKETING

For direct marketing purposes, the User gives consent through an active action.

The User has the opportunity at any time to withdraw the consent given for direct marketing from Veli.store. From its side, Veli.store will cease direct marketing to the User within a reasonable period after receiving a request regarding withdrawal, but no later than 7 (seven) working days.

The withdrawal of consent given by the User for direct marketing is done on the Veli.store website in the personal account in the following way.

In the User’s personal account, there is a «switch on/off» button through which the User can consent or refuse the processing of information for direct marketing purposes, receiving news and offers via SMS & Email notifications.

Veli.store is obliged to record and store the time and fact of consent and withdrawal of consent by the User for the duration of direct marketing activities and for 1 (one) year after the cessation of direct marketing.

A request by the User to cease direct marketing does not obligate Veli.store to stop providing information about updates and changes.

Veli.store is an e-commerce platform where the Users are authorized to repeatedly use and order the desired item with their account after registration. Consequently, for Veli.store to carry out its activities, it is necessary to process the User’s data in parallel. Due to the purpose of this data processing, it is impossible to specifically determine the retention period of the data. Accordingly, Veli.store retains the data until the User expresses a desire to cease the processing of their personal data and terminate the contract with them or until circumstances provided by law arise.

CHANGES AND ADDITIONS

Changes and additions may be made to this document. In case of changes or additions, the User will receive a personal notification or it will be published on the website.

Changes and additions come into effect after Veli.store sends a personal notification to the User or publishes it on the website. After the changes and additions come into effect, the User’s use of the website will be considered as consent to the changed terms.
