Liefmans Fruit is then blended with fresh, natural fruit juices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and blueberry. Brouwer Liefmans. Located in Oudenaarde, Belgium. The history of Liefmans dates back to the 17th century, when Jacobus Liefmans was founded as a brewery in Oudenaarde. Rosa Merckx, the first and for many years the only female brewmaster, has been closely involved for 40 years. In honor of Rosa Merckx, her signature now appears on all Liefmans labels. This wonderful 90-year-old woman is still passionate about Liefmans beer. Along with today's master brewers, he keeps an eye on the quality of Liefmans products.
