Brand History

In 1993, Terry Peabody and his wife, Mary, decided to create a family heirloom to pass on to future generations. They decided to create a winery, their desire stemming from their family's love for good wine. There was one condition - Terry didn't want to buy an existing vineyard, but instead wanted to choose bare land, a pristine site, so he could focus on quality from the start. The search for a winery traditionally began in France and America, then spread to Australia. Opportunity then took Terry to the edge of the world - New Zealand - the land of mountains, fire and ice. Here he saw the potential that he had not seen anywhere else - the country's special climate, rich history of farming and the pioneering spirit of the people. This is how the history of the brand began, whose wine remains one of the consumer's favorite drinks today.
