The Clase Azul brand came to life in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1997. The founder, Arturo Lomeli, was a 23-year-old bar owner who dreamt of sharing his Mexican hometown and heritage with the world. So, he teamed up with a friend to make and sell their own tequila.

Description

The tequila was named after one of Mexico's less explored states: Guerrero. The region is characterized above all by unique landscapes and other facets of Mexican culture. All of this is combined in Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero. The very rare papalote agave was used for it. It can be found growing wild in the mountain ranges of the state. Its taste is characteristic of the tequila, which has a luxurious and versatile character. The full-bodied Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero is crystal clear in the glass, with only slight straw-colored reflections. It exudes a bouquet of grapefruit peel, fresh wood, spicy notes of rosemary and peanut oil and fresh aromas of daisies. On the palate, it reveals all its charm: fresh wood in combination with lemon juice. This exciting first impression is complemented by seaweed, a little pepper and a hint of tobacco.
