"Babale's sock" was created based on the inspiration of Georgian artists, Georgian national heritage and paintings of people with Down syndrome. Each sock has its own unique visual and history. "Babale" created new fabric designs for World Down Syndrome Day 2024 with sketches of joint paintings by Georgian artists and young people with Down syndrome. "Pomegranate Tree" is one of the products of the 2024 World Down Syndrome Day campaign, which was created from the details of a joint painting by artist Zura Gomelauri and a young man with Down syndrome, Aleksandre Kupatadze. Pomegranate tree on a sky-blue background creates a spring mood.

Babale

The social enterprise "Babale" was created in 2014 by the Down Syndrome Association of Georgia. Its founders and members are parents of children and adolescents with disabilities. The creative space combined an art workshop - for learning and working process and a store-salon, where customers can buy products created in "Babale". The authors of creative ideas are people with special needs who are actively involved in the daily activities of "Babale". The mission of "Babale" is to promote the independence of people with Down syndrome through vocational training, employment and strengthening their families. "Babale" offers customers a wide selection of practical and decorative items. The list includes: socks, kitchen accessories, decorative and practical interior items, holiday items and accessories. The social enterprise offers corporate customers customized products - branded bags, office supplies and various gift sets.
