Usage
• Compatibility: for all types of gasoline and gasoline-hybrid, diesel and diesel-hybrid engines.
• Application: Spray the aerosol with the accompanying tube directly into the particulate filter through the metal tube of the oil pressure sensor, temperature sensor or oxygen sensor.
✓Before use:
1. Check: The fault code should indicate a blocked particulate filter.
2. Check the oil level in the engine. If the oil is thin - flush the engine with Wynn's Oil System Cleaner (Wynn's Oil System Cleaner, W47244), then change the engine oil and filter.
3. Make sure the fuel tank is ¼ full of fuel.
4. Warm up the engine and turn it off.
5. For Euro 6 diesel engines, turn on the air flow sensor to prevent the low pressure exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve from operating during the scavenging process.
Procedure sequence:
1. Inject the aerosol directly into the particulate filter through the metal tube of the oil pressure sensor, temperature sensor, or oxygen sensor with the accompanying tubing.
2. Spray the aerosol directly into the particulate filter before emptying the canister.
3. Wait 15-30 minutes to soak the filter thoroughly.
4. Reconnect the oil pressure sensor, temperature sensor and oxygen sensor.
5. Park the vehicle and idle for 5 minutes, then run the engine at 2000-2500 rpm for another 5 minutes.
6. If you had the air supply turned off, reconnect it.
7. Fix the fault codes.
8. Use Wynn's Oil System Cleaner (W47244), change engine oil and filter.
