Organically shaped side table. MDF table top and pine legs. The Mae occasional table is newly added to the collection of the interior label WOOOD. Mae is striking due to its playful organic shapes and slim leg frame. MDF is formed from pressed wood fibres which are bonded together under high pressure using resin. This gives MDF a very smooth surface. The MDF from our collections is always treated with a strong primer and finished in a colour. This ensures that the article is well protected and ready for use. This slim side table has a height of 40 cm and is approximately 61 cm wide and 50 cm deep. The table top has a raised edge of 2 cm high.The side table has a carrying capacity of 10 kg when evenly distributed. The table itself weighs a generous 2 kg. The advantage of MDF is that it will not splinter or warp. However, MDF is very sensitive to moisture and heat due to its strong absorbing properties. This will cause the MDF to expand and cannot be returned to its original shape.
