The wine is made from natural Saperavi grapes grown in the vineyards of Iliatsminda village of Sighnaghi municipality in the Kakheti region. It is outstanding by the aromatic characteristics of this species, low acidity, and long-lasting taste effect. The wine is made without any chemical impurities or processing, according to the traditional Georgian methods, and is an entirely natural product.

Brand History

"Valiko" is a natural wine cellar, which has been producing wine according to Georgian traditions for 45 years, but is now establishing itself on the Georgian market. The idea of becoming a wine brand is related to Valiko Papa's 80th birthday, when his grandchildren decided to give him such a gift. It was Valiko Janiashvili who laid the foundation of the wine cellar, whose path is continued today by his grandchildren. Valiko wine was originally bottled in stainless steel and oak barrels, but now traditional Georgian pitchers are used. The vineyard is planted in Iliatsminda - Sighnaghi district - where they grow Saferavi, Rkatsiteli, Green and Kis. The wine is made without any chemical additives, it is 100% natural.
