The Bitter Truth collaborated with German company Thomas Henry who make a selection of tonics and carbonated waters. Created specifically to add to gin and tonics, this bitters has pungent aromas of citrus zest and coriander which continue to the palate. Its long finish of citrus zest and bitter bark make it a great alternative to the classic orange bitters and great in a huge range of cocktails.

Brand History

It all started on June 6, 2006 at the Bar Show BAR party in London. At this show, Munich bartenders Stefan Berg and Alexander Hauck came up with the idea of mass production and distribution of bitters. Both of them already had a lot of experience in making bitter cocktails. In addition, Stefan possessed a large collection of modern and rare bitters, he knew the world's most famous bitters by taste and was considered an expert in this field. In August 2006, the first bitters were released - Orange Bitters and Old Time Aromatic Bitters, and then - Lemon Bitters. Shortly thereafter, the company released three more bitters, one of which, Celery Bitters, won the 2008 Best Spirit Award at the Mixology Bar Awards in Germany. At the 2010 International Spirits Competition in Los Angeles, Truth Jerry Thomas was awarded the Gold Medal and Best in Class, while Celery Bitters and Creole Bitters won Silver Medals. At the 2010 Tales of the Cocktail Competition in New Orleans, Celery Bitters won the "Best New Product" award. In addition to bitters, the company's production portfolio includes fine liqueurs and gins.
