Brand History

Tamnavulin distillery was established in 1966 by Tamnavulin-Glenlivet Distillery Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Invergordon Distillers Ltd. The whiskey produced here was used to create Whyte & Mackay, Crawfords and Mackinlay blends. In 1993, Tamnavulin became the property of Whyte & Mackay, and in 1995 whiskey production ceased here. The new owners decided to improve production and modernize the factory. It took 12 years to modernize the distillery, and in 2007 the world got to know the updated single malt "Tamnavulin".
