"Zigu" is an exclusive drink made by mixing different grape products - grape juice and wine obtained from more than 300 Georgian and foreign red varieties, from the "Shumi" collection, chacha, brandy and rare Georgian herbs. The resulting drink is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. The drink is characterized by a harmonious, light oak aroma, forest berry, almond, coniferous-floral and caramel tones.

Brand History

Shumi wine company was founded in 2001 and is located in the historical center of viticulture and winemaking, village in the foreword. The word "Shum" has meant undiluted, pure wine in Georgia since ancient times. Shumi wine company owns vineyards in almost all unique microzones of Georgia. Shumi's assortment includes red and white, dry, semi-dry and naturally semi-sweet wines, organic wine, fortified wine, wine brandy and chacha. The company's products have been repeatedly recognized and awarded at many international and local exhibitions and tastings. Shum wine company was the first in Georgia to establish the "Vazion" vine and wine museum, where 325 Georgian and 105 world-wide grape varieties that have survived extinction are presented.
