Schöfferhofer German wheat beer is brewed in the Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. Live yeast "conditions" the bottle, providing a refreshing fruity taste. Yeast sediment also contributes to the "cloudy" nature of beer. Care must be taken when pouring. Tilt the glass and pour slowly. Before pouring the last quarter, gently shake the bottle back and forth until the sediment is dispersed.
