Description

Red organic dry wine Saperavi is produced in the village of Gulgula of Telavi municipality (Tsinandli zone) from grapes of the same variety grown in the traditional Georgian method. The wine is made only from grapes pressed from their own vineyards. Only organic farming products are used in the vineyard. The wine is pressed and planted in a pitcher on chacha for 10 days. After 10 days, fermentation takes place in the pitcher without chacha. Before bottling, wine is stored in a jug. The wine has not undergone chemical processing and filtration.

Brand History

Burjanadze-Shanidze Winery - Kvibari was founded in 2014 and since its establishment has been producing only organic wine in three regions of Georgia: Kakheti, Imereti and Kartli. Wine is produced from its own vineyards, which is processed only with biological preparations. Since 2021, our company has become a member of the "Natural Wine Association", which annually carries out strict monitoring of vineyards and wine of member companies. Accordingly, the products of the member wineries of the association are allowed in Europe, America and Japan in the category of organic wine. Received awards 2019 - Balkan International Wine Competition (Bulgaria): Rkatsiteli - Gold Medal (best wine of the competition); Tsolikouri - bronze medal: 2020 - Kvevari International Wine Competition (Georgia): Rkatsiteli - gold medal
