Xaymaca Special Dry Aged 100% Pot Still Rum from Jamaica, which most accurately conveys the traditional style characteristic of 19th century Jamaican rum. The word Xaymaka (read Zamaka) in the indigenous Arawak language of Jamaica means the name of the island - "land of forests and waters". After distillation, the rum is aged for 3 years in the tropics in bourbon casks, and then for another 1 year in France in casks previously aged with Pierre Ferran cognac.
