Fafari Valley red semi-dry unfiltered wine is made from Saperavi grapes using a multi-track gravity system of pitchers. The drink undergoes natural fermentation at a temperature of 25-28 degrees, with the help of a small yeast intervention. Finally, the wine is aged in pitcher number 16. The wine has a dark garnet color, plum, cherry aroma and rich, acidic, well-balanced taste.

Brand History

Fafari Veli is a family farm that first released wine on the market in 2015. Wines grown and bottled in the estate are prepared using the Kakhuri winemaking method, fermentation of naturally occurring yeast and aging in vats. Fafari Valley has 21 winemakers, their goal is to combine traditional and modern Georgian winemaking technologies and find the best methods. The priority for the brand is to preserve and save the idea of Kvevari wine.
