An enhanced Carbon Filter inside the Insert helps prevent food from spoiling by absorbing ethylene, a gas that makes produce ripen. A 360° hole pattern allows the Filter to efficiently trap the gas. The pyramid shape ensures exposure and airflow, even in crowded crisper drawers. Pack includes 2 Standing Crisper Inserts and 2 Carbon Filters. Each Filter should be replaced about every 90 days when it will no longer have the capacity to absorb more ethylene. A built-in date indicator keeps track of when it’s time to replace the Carbon Filter.
