One Hundred Thousand And One

The collection begins with the monoplay "Gives Babble". Don't let this "bubble" confuse you, it's an English word and it means a bubble, more like a soap bubble, and it's used to denote our being, a shell. And the play is about Givi's loneliness... and that's the whole charm of a monoplay?! Well, our Givi also lives in this solitude and is "curvy"... why? Because his world is fictional. Yes, he has a fictional fiancee, daughter-in-law, friend, and even God himself. And these fictional characters, nothing more and nothing less, are embodied by inflatable people. Yes, the bride Tasso, mother-in-law Makrine, friend Shamshe and, of course, the god living in the closet... (Winner of Batumi International Monodrama Festival. 2021)

The second in the collection is the absurd tragicomedy "One Hundred and One". In the play, the same tragedy is played out, which happened centuries ago on the bridge of Metekhi. Yes, this absurd tragicomedy echoes the story of the hundred thousand martyrs, and its absurdity lies in the fact that the action takes place in the twenty-first century and is completely different from the original story... Four people are standing on the bridge and trying to cross. The bridge is closed with a barrier, and from the monitor hanging above it, the train decides who can cross the bridge and who can't... However, unlike the story of the hundred thousand martyrs, the characters of the play have a completely different pain and are bearers of completely different pain. The icon is also destroyed every day... After all, these people represent today's society, completely devoid of values and morals... (finalist of the M. The third play is a two-act tragicomedy "Lipstick and Underwear", where the main character is dead and attends his own funeral. When Gogi died, there was no one at home. He was already found dead, and the examination determined that he "slept into Kaif". However, Gogi did not use drugs. And this strange circumstance closed the door of heaven for him... and despite the tragedy of the situation, you won't believe it, and it's a funny story at the same time. Well, it's not fun when you're sitting in a coffin, you hear everyone, you see everyone, and you can endlessly "cry" at the comicness of the situation.
