This type of solution has several parts. You will see a long, metal spiral, and a flatter part that serves as a lever when opening a wine bottle. Depending on the model, the spiral and lever parts fold into the handle of the wine key, unfold it and the opener is ready to use. Twist the spiral into the cork. Pull the sharp tip of the spiral slightly outside the center of the cork. Gently twist it clockwise until only one part of the spiral is visible. If necessary, use a knife or spiral tip to remove the foil from the cork. Place the lever against the bottle. The flat lever on the wine key will have two curved indentations on the sides. Place the lever so that they fit into the lip of the glass bottle, next to the cork. Use your other hand to hold the bottle as you remove the cork to prevent the bottle from breaking.
