Monkey Shoulder is a Scotch blended whiskey that is a blend of three different malt whiskies: Glenfiddich, Balwen and Kinninvy. The three whiskeys in question are aged in bourbon casks, after aging they are blended together, this process lasts from 3 to 6 months. In the end, they get a blended whiskey made only from malt, in which no other grains are used. The 3 spirits used to make the blended whiskey are distilled at the same distillery. Pleasant orange, vanilla and spice aromas of whiskey. When tasting, you will feel the complex taste of malt, citrus and honey. 18-20 degrees is the ideal temperature for tasting whiskey mank.

Brand History

Monkey Shoulder was created by William Grant & Sons, one of the oldest whiskey producers in the world. The brand has been making the best Scotch whiskey since 1887. In the early 2000s, William Grant's team decided to introduce an innovation that would later be shared with the whole world. Blends usually contain grain whisky, and the brand has created a single malt blended whiskey with no other grains mixed in. This is how a malt blend was created, which no one has produced before. How was the name "Monkey Shoulders" born? In the traditional malt whiskey making process, the malted barley was turned by hand using heavy malt shovels. Some of them developed an injury that caused their arm to hang like a monkey's arm.
