Michel Von, an oenologist and graduate of the University of Dijon, acquired the winery Champenoises à Damery in 1987 and took over the reins from his uncle, René Bart. Today, the total area of the vineyard is 13 hectares and is located in four municipalities - Benwihr, Mittelwihr, Sigolsheim and Colmar. Michel Fonnet pays special attention to the development of quality Alsatian wines. He personally directs the work in the vineyards. Domaine Michel Fonné products are popular not only in France, but also in many European countries, Japan and Russia.
