Mezan Jamaica XO is a blend of 4- and 24-year-old rums that are additionally aged in casks for several years to balance their natural flavors and bring out the oak notes from the cask. The drink has a golden color, aromas of banana and sweet spices, and a complex, lingering taste with tobacco elements. It goes very well with fruits, cigars and seafood, while you can also enjoy it with meat dishes.

Brand History

Mezan rum is produced at the Hampden and Monimusk distilleries, which have Scottish roots and were acquired in the mid-18th century by Sir Archibald Grant, who also owned land in West Africa. Traditionally, rum was exported from Jamaica for mixing, but the original drink was no less distinguished.
