Lillet Rose is a vermouth created by the Lillet brothers in Bordeaux, France. The drink is a mixture of white and red wine. Muscat Blanc grapes give the drink a rich floral flavor, Sauvignon Blanc adds intense fruity elements, and Sémillon leaves the drink with a lingering aftertaste. White and red wine are diluted with fruit liqueur and then aged in oak barrels for 1 year. Aromas of ripe berries, wild flowers and grapefruit. The taste of Lillet Rosé is rich and harmonious, divided by the refreshing elements of sweet-bitter citrus. You can eat it with an ice cube or natural juices. 6-8 degrees is the ideal temperature for tasting the drink.

Brand History

Lillet was founded in 1872 in Podensack by the Lillet brothers. The first aperitif was created in 1887, their goal was to serve a drink that would be good for health. There is a version that in refining the vermouth recipe, the brothers were helped by Father Karman, a priest who was passionate about making tinctures from medicinal herbs. The first attempt to create a drink was successful, the brothers began to produce two lines of vermouth, based on white and red French wines. In the 80s of the twentieth century, the recipe was slightly changed and a drink with a low alcohol content and a pleasant bitter taste was obtained. Aperitif Lille is very popular in Europe.
