The Le Caucase brand is made with classic technologies from spirits aged at least 5 years, produced in different areas of Georgian winemaking. 3 grape varieties used: Gori green, Rkatsiteli and Chinese. After preparation, the drink is aged for 3 years in an oak barrel. The drink has a dark straw color, a soft, velvety taste and a floral aroma with vanilla notes. It goes well with cheese, fruit and sweets, 18-22 degrees is the ideal temperature to taste the brandy.

Brand History

The history of Teliani Valley began in the 19th century, when a voluminous wine cellar was built on the territory of the old cellar and the Alexander Chavchavadze winery by order of the emperor's brother, Mikhail Romanov. In the 1880s, Bordeaux winemaker Antoine Mossano was invited to the wine cellar. Mosano worked in Georgia for 9 years and was the first to start working on the fusion of Georgian and European grape varieties and winemaking technologies. On his initiative, many varieties of French grapes were brought to Georgia and cultivated. Cabernet-Sauvignon grown in the Teliani Valley was among the new varieties, from which Mosano made the Teliani wine and sent the first bottle to St. Petersburg, to the emperor's court. On the bottle it was written: "Cabernet-Sauvignon from Teliani Valley, 1893, Antoine Mossano".
