Brand History

Juso's traditional Kakhuri winemaking is a long-standing tradition of the family, the foundation of which was laid by the family's ancestor, a famous winemaker in Kakheti, Juso Papa. Over the years, the winemaker's family continued the tradition of their ancestors and made wine only for personal consumption, for friends. 6 years ago, two young winemakers, descendants of Juso Papi, were able to turn their family tradition and favorite activity into a business, and offer wine lovers high-quality, natural wine aged in kveri according to the traditional Kakhuri method. Juso winery combines a cellar with 17 vats (18 tons), a wine tasting area and vineyards in Kakheti (Shilda village and Sagarejo district). The main pride of the wine industry is the 60-year-old vineyard of the father and grandfather, which was planted by Juso Papa in the Kostafe area, located at the mouth of the Iori and Lochthekve rivers, in the Sagarejo region. Juso's wines are Costafe (Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Green, Buera - from 60-year-old vineyard), Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Green and Saperavi. Winery produces about 8000-9000 bottles per year, 50% of which is exported.
