The whiskey has silky flavors of dark dried berries, roasted almonds, nectarine, vanilla, spice, coffee and a lingering warming finish.

Brand History

The factory was built in 1810 in the village of Craighouse, in Smugglers' Cave. In 1875 it was purchased and renovated by James Ferguson and his sons. However, already in 1901, due to the recession in the economy, the factory was closed and it did not work until the middle of the 20th century. It resumed operation in 1963 when two local entrepreneurs, Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith, in partnership with Charles Mackinlay & Co, decided to restore the factory in order to attract new jobs to the island.
