In the village of Shilda, in the Kindzmarauli micro-zone of the Kvareli region, a vineyard is cultivated with the Saperavi grape variety. This natural dry red wine "Iseti" is made from a blend of five grape varieties based on Saperavi. The grapes are grown using natural methods—no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used. The wine is made without any additives and is aged on the skins for 14 days. This process allows the grapes to fully express their character and potential.

Brand History

Marani Unari unites the terroirs of Kakheti and Kartli – the village of Shilda in the Kvareli region (Kindzmarauli micro-zone), the village of Iliatsminda in the Sighnaghi region, and the village of Ksovrisi in the Mtskheta region, Mukhrani. The winery itself is located in Ksovrisi, where natural wine is made from grape varieties such as Rkatsiteli, Kakhetian Mtsvane, Saperavi, Chinuri, Goruli Mtsvane, and Chitistvala Kakhetian Shavi.

At Unari Winery, they believe that wine is a full expression of nature’s remarkable qualities. Both the vineyard and the winery are managed organically, without any additives, with the entire process focused on showcasing the inherent abilities of nature. This belief is reflected in the winery's name – Unari -which is georgian word and translates as skills.
