Brand History

Hot Irishman was founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, who now own 80% of the shares. Rosemary was inspired to start the company while traveling in France with her husband. They lived in a ski resort and hosted many guests in their chalet every day. After each meal, guests were treated to an Irish coffee (a cocktail consisting of hot coffee, Irish whiskey and sugar). It was a pleasure to prepare 20-30 portions of the favorite drink, but at the same time the hospitable hostess was tired. The Walshes decided there had to be a better solution that would allow you to get a great drink without the extra effort and inefficient use of time. This is how the company Hot Irishman Limited was born. At first, the company planned to produce only Irish Cream, and in 2001 "Irishman" Irish Cream was released.
