The scarf is inspired by the wall paintings of the Martvili Monastery.
The monastery was founded in the 6th-7th centuries and was once a pagan cult site where the great oak – Chkondidi – was worshipped.
Over time, the monastery became a center for the creation and spread of unique secular and religious texts. The frescoes of the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin, dating from the 14th, 16th, and 17th centuries, inspired the design of our scarf.
The light and comfortable cotton texture makes the scarf an ideal accessory for all seasons, while its ornaments reflect both elegance and cultural heritage.
The scarf is printed by hand using printing techniques on only one side.
