Brand History

Greenbar Distillery was founded by two journalists from Los Angeles, Melkon Khosrovian and Liti Mathew. They met at university and after the wedding founded a company producing alcoholic beverages. Together, they develop recipes for tequila and other spirits that have been exclusively organic since 2008. The decision to switch from widely available conventional foods to more expensive organics came when Melkon and Litti discovered that raw ingredients grown without growth promoters had a more intense and fuller flavor. The slow ripening of the plants allows them to obtain maximum aromatic substances. Now Greenbar Distillery works closely with organic farms, getting selected plants with special taste from them. The company's product range includes drinks such as tequila, gin, fruit liqueur, rum, bitters, whiskey, spritz and vodka.
