Brand History

The Glenmorangie brand has come a long and interesting way to become one of the world's leading producers of Scotch whisky. As early as 1843, the Matheson brothers created a distillery. In the second half of the 19th century, the product was exported to Europe and America, however, due to the Great Depression and the ban on the sale of alcohol in America, the factory closed in 1931 and remained closed until November 1936, when Macdonald and Muir Ltd. bought it and continued the operation, after which, in 2005, Glenmorangie became the world Part of the leader, Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton.
