Brand History

The name The Glenlivet is derived from the name of the area, which is the best place for whiskey production in all of Scotland. Over the centuries, the key ingredients that make The Glenlivet whiskey special have remained the same: the purest water from the Josie Spring, special copper and oak casks that are always hand-selected. George Smith, known for his deep knowledge of single malt whiskey production, built his own distillery in the Livet Valley, knowing full well that there was no better place in Scotland to produce this drink. At the same time, the uniqueness of The Glenlivet has many secrets. The distillery is located next to Jozi Spring, which supplies it with tens of thousands of liters of pure mountain water every day.
