Description

This special dry amber wine is made from the highest quality green and Rkatsiteli grapes harvested in the Kakheti region. It was made without any chemical and technological intervention, with full fermentation, in the original "Kvevari" clay pot, and then following the old Kakhuri traditions for 6 months. It has a charming amber color, balanced fruit and herbal aromas with flavors of wild mirabelle, hazelnuts and honey. A unique textural mouthfeel with tannins.

Brand History

Gevelli Wine & Vineyards was founded in 2014 with the goal of creating the most modern winery in the region. Their winery and vineyards are located in the Kakheti region, near the ancient city of Telavi and in the picturesque valley of the Alazni River. This area is known as the "Cradle of Wine" because it is the oldest wine-growing region on earth, with oenological roots dating back to 6000 BC. The winery of Gevelli Wine and Vineyards is equipped with the most modern, highest quality, winemaking and wine aging equipment. When combined with the region's endemic vines, winemaking traditions, and their winemaker Archil Farsadanishvili's passion for wine, they strive to set new standards for Georgian wine on the global market.
