Brand History

Fevertree Drinks plc, known as Fever-Tree, is a British manufacturer of premium drink mixers founded by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrilow in 2004. The company's name derives from its initial product, tonic water. Their tonic was flavored with quinine, a chemical extracted from the bark of the South American cinchona tree. When introduced to India as a pharmaceutical to reduce fever associated with malaria, quinine was mixed with carbonated water and sugar to make it more palatable, resulting in the first tonic water. West London-based Fever-Tree produces a range of products including tonic water, ginger beer and lemonade. As of March 2015, their products have been sold in 50 countries.
