How to choose antifreeze? There are two ways to do this:
1) Look in the vehicle manual (exact)
2) Look into the radiator or fluid expansion tank to find out what color antifreeze is spilled in the car (a relatively imprecise method, but it excludes damage to the car)
• Take note! Blue, green, yellow and purple antifreeze can be diluted together.
G11 coolant was used for cars manufactured before 1996 (although it can be found in some modern cars before 2016).
G11 performs the following functions:
Creates surface protection, prevents ethylene glycol damage;
• Slows down the spread of corrosion.
The color of G11 antifreeze is blue and green, pay attention to two features:
During operation, the protective layer becomes thinner, causing accelerated wear of parts, as well as damage to the water pump.
Also remember that it is not recommended to use G11 in aluminum engines and radiators.
• The service life does not exceed 3 years regardless of mileage.
