Description

Dorley's XO Single Blend Rum is aged in bourbon casks for approximately 5-6 years and undergoes a second maturation period of 1-2 years in sherry casks. By the late 1990s, it had become one of the most iconic rums of Foursquare Distillery's modern era. The drink is decorated with a golden color, elegant aroma of iris vanilla, honey and rich taste. It goes very well with cigars and seafood.

Brand History

The alcoholic beverage industry as we know it today began to develop in 1906 - after the enactment of the Rome Customs Act. Before that, most alcoholic drinks were made on plantations, but the new law required distillers to obtain a license and sell only in large batches. Consequently, many of Bridgetown's trading companies became independent producers and valuers. Among them were Messrs. Martin Dorley and R.L. Sill. Doorly's Macaw was the first rum to be bottled and exported beyond the island's borders. Today, Dorley's rums remain popular and are produced by one of the world's most respected distilleries, the Foursquare Rum Distillery.
