Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan — a cocktail consisting of vodka , Cointreau or triple sec , cranberry juice and freshly squeezed or:black">sweetened lime juice . Informally , this drink is simply called a Cosmo . Bartender Neil Murray says he created the Cosmopolitan in 1975 at Cork & Cleaver Steak House in Minneapolis.

To prepare a cocktail, pour vodka, liqueur and lime juice into a shaker, add ice and shake. Pour the cocktail into a suitable glass and garnish with an orange.
