Description

Amber dry wine, placed in Qvevri, from Rkatsiteli grapes, the wine is not processed chemically and not filtered. A small amount of leech is expected, contains sulfite.

Brand history

Copyright winery Chito Wine was founded in 2017. Founder and winemaker, Nino Chitoshvili, was born in Tbilisi, graduated from Tbilisi State Conservatory. He came to winemaking because of his love of wine, music, philosophy, relationships and art in general. As Nino himself points out, wine gives him more emotional harmony than music. It was for this purpose that 6 years ago, the first pitchers were poured in his yard at Martfevi's country house, where only organic, natural wine is poured. Cultured yeast is also not used in the wine and it is not filtered. The wine undergoes fermentation and further vinification in vats for 7-9 months. All wines are produced only from grapes grown in their own vineyards, located in the village of Vachnadzian in Kakheti. Microzone Mukusan is one of the best for both red and amber wine production. We bring Saperavi, Rkatsiteli kisi, Khikhiv and Kakhuri green. All vineyards are cultivated with organic care and the wine corresponds to the "Naturaler" category. Chito Wine is a member of the Natural Wine Association. Produces 10,000 bottles of wine. Cheetos wine is sold in: France, USA, Denmark, Latvia, Israel. Every year our wine is tasted and sold at one of the most famous wine bars in New York, Vinyl Wine. Also, the 2021 harvest safer won a gold medal in the international safer competition.
