Cardhu 15 YO is a single malt Scotch whiskey aged for 15 years in oak bourbon casks, which adds a light and refined character. Kardu has been using pure spring water from springs in the Manokh Mountains for 15 years. Today, the factory is completely modernized: during production, a mash is used, in which the blades move in two planes, the fermentation processes take place in spruce barrels, and then in lime steel barrels. Exposure takes place in factory warehouses. The drink is appreciated by both whiskey lovers and true gourmets, because the incredibly rich aroma and refined, elegant taste of Cardu whiskey leaves no one indifferent.

Brand History

Cardhu is a Scotch whiskey distillery in Speyside, near Archistown, founded in 1824 by whiskey smuggler John Cummings and his wife Helen. Cardu Distillery was the first to be officially run by a woman. It was Helena, and eventually her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Cummings, who took over the distillery and refined the taste and character of the whiskey that is still known today - light, elegant, generous, born of hard work and determination. The distillery is now run by Diageo and Cardu stills form an important part of Johnnie Walker's blended whiskies. The word "Cardhu" is derived from the Scottish Carn Dubh, meaning black rock.
