Capellana red dry organic wine is made from the Temprano grape variety, the drink is elegant and lively. The grapes are not harvested until they have reached the optimum level of ripeness and fullness. The drink undergoes a controlled fermentation at a low temperature and a long maceration process in a stainless steel tank. The wine is decorated with an intense red color, a strong and complex aroma of red fruits and a velvety taste. Tannin and perfect acidity underline the excellent qualities of the wine. It goes very well with meat, fish and stew. The recommended temperature for wine tasting is 14-16 degrees.

Brand History

Adolfo de las Heras Marín, a wine enthusiast, founded Bodegas y Viñedos de Utiel in 1985. El Renegado's 540 hectares are planted between vineyard and forest, of which more than 80% are local Bobal vines, over 40 years old. Don Adolfo was one of the pioneers in the introduction of different varieties in this area, such as, for example, Merlot or Cabernet. He was also one of the first to start producing quality bottled wine. The first years saw the promotion of young wines on the market and the discovery of new blends and methods. New mixtures and methods of their production have been discovered. His son Adolfo de las Heras Polo, who led the winery in the late 90s, revolutionized the winemaking process.
