Canadian Club is a blended whiskey made from corn, rye and barley malts. The drink is aged for at least 3 years in an oak barrel until its taste and aroma reach perfection. The whiskey is light golden in color, has a refreshing, smooth, aroma with hints of almond and currant spice, its taste is fiery, and the finish is clean and dry. You can taste it cold, with an ice cube, as well as in cocktails.

Brand History

Canadian Club is the oldest brand of Canadian blended whiskey that has been around for 140 years. In 1858, the American Hiram Walker built the Hiram Walker and Sons distillery, which is still located in the same place on the Detroit River in Canada. The quality of whiskey was constantly improving. According to legend, the famous gangster, Al Capone, during the prohibition of alcohol, repeatedly crossed the border to obtain the desired whiskey. In 1889, after the adoption of a law in the United States of America, which required the country of origin to be indicated on the label, Walker wrote Canadian whiskey on the bottle, and the drink was named Canadian Club after that. After Walker's death in 1899, the whiskey brand was passed down to his sons and then to his grandsons.
