Brand History

Buna is one of the outstanding distilleries on the island of Isla, with a rich history and unparalleled quality. Buna is the only distillery on the famous Isle of Isla with a core line of untortured whiskeys. The distillery was originally owned by the Islay Distillery Company, but in 1887 it was taken over by the Highland Distilleries Company. The distillery was closed in 1981, however, it was restored in 1984 and continues to operate successfully today.
