Bruichladdich Classic Laddie is a single malt Scotch whiskey made from malt specially grown on the Scottish island of Islay. The aroma of the whiskey is sweet malt, sugar and vanilla, along with floral and citrus elements with hints of lemon, salt and sea air. The drink has a pleasant texture in the mouth, the taste is initially sweet, with hints of caramel and vanilla, which is due to the ex-bourbon barrels. Gradually, a touch of barley grain, malt and acidity of lemon peel are felt, and towards the finish, spicy notes of white pepper complete the taste.

Brand History

Distillery Bruichladdich was founded in 1881 on the coast of Indall Bay in the western part of Islay by the Harvey brothers, who had owned two Glasgow distilleries since 1770. With the help of inheritance, the three brothers combined their talents and built a third distillery - Bruichladdich. The design of the distillery was state of the art and very different from the existing ones, it was built from seashore stones and visually more effective. The company mainly produces single malt whiskey, but also offers several types of gin. The factory went into full production in 2013. The barley used in the whiskey is exclusively Scottish and most of it is grown on Islay. The origin of the barley used is very important philosophically and this is increasingly reflected in the marketing and presentation of the product. The distillery remains loyal to the island of Islay and continues to produce excellent spirits there.
