Several viruses are raging in the world at the same time. Players have to deal with viruses. Until the situation is under control, their mission is to treat the hotspots of the pandemic and find a cure for all four diseases. The board shows some of the major population centers on Earth. On each turn, the player can use up to four actions to move between cities, treat the infected population, discover cures, or build a research station. A deck of cards offers players these opportunities. However, this player is also infected because the deck contains some cards that amplify the pandemic and help it spread. Also in the game is a second, separate stack that controls the moderate spread of the pandemic. Each player has their own role in the team and according to their strengths they will develop the appropriate strategy to defeat the disease. However, the virus is spreading fast and time is running out. If one or more viruses spread again after the situation in a particular hotspot has stabilized, or if more than enough time has passed, players lose. If they defeat all four diseases, they win.
