Brand History

Bladnoch Distillery is located in the southwest of the Scottish Lowlands, on the banks of the Bladnoch River. The mill was built in 1817 by Thomas McClelland. The distillery has changed its masters many times and has ceased operations many times, like many distilleries in Scotland. From 1930 to 1948 it was closed, then bought by Inver House Distillers and sold in 1983 by Arthur Bell & Sons. In 1985, the United Distillers company became the owner of the factory, which turned it into a tourist center in 1993.
