Description

Red dry wine is made from Saperavi grapes grown in Kakheti. Fermentation took place in a pitcher using the traditional method. It is a dark garnet color. Ripe cherry and black fruit aromas. The wine is full-bodied with a strong body and a long finish.

Founded in 1994, Binekhi Winery produces premium red and amber wines and spirits from local Georgian grape varieties, harvested in the best terroirs in limited yields. Winemaking is about creative interpretation and experimentation, based on an 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition. Binekh won many awards at competitions held in Germany, Japan, USA and Greater Eurasia. The company owns 90 hectares of vineyards in several regions of Georgia, and on 35 hectares it cultivates unique indigenous grape varieties.
