Description

Balvenie Doublewood is a Scottish single malt whiskey aged for 12 years. The drink aged in traditional and bourbon casks has a mild character, while sherry casks add depth and fullness of taste. On the palate, slightly spicy rum opens the nose with pleasant hints of date and walnut cake, a slightly honeyed fattiness, cocoa and crystallized ginger dust. Leaves a very delicate, wine-like sensation in the mouth - Balveni style. The flavor palette is saturated with winter spices, salty butter notes and vanilla and ice cream elements. The finish is strong and fast, fading away from the bourbon oak and being replaced by sweet vanilla.

Balvenie is a brand that produces Scotch single malt whisky. The brand belongs to the independent family company William Grant & Sons. The company was founded by William Grant in 1886 and is still being carried on by the fifth generation of the family. William Grant & Sons products are known all over the world and are sold in more than 180 countries. Balvenie Distillery began operations in 1893 and since then the traditional process of creating whiskey has not changed, the entire production cycle takes place at Balvenie Distillery, they have their own malt and grow barley. The whiskey is produced by a team of experts led by David Stewart, Master Blender at The Balvenie. Together, they create an excellent single malt whiskey, which has proven its reputation many times and received a number of the highest awards in the world's most prestigious competitions.
