White wine - Badagoni Kakhuri excellent - grapes for wine are harvested early in the morning. The grapes are selected by hand and processed using the reduction method. It is made from Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri green grape varieties, which come from the vineyards near the Alaverdi Monastery. At the international wine competition "GALICJA VITIS 2018" held in Poland, in the wine category, the Badagoni wine "Kakhuri Excellent" won the title of the best wine, and along with the Grand Gold medal, it was awarded the title of champion. It is especially suitable for salads and fish.

Brand History

The place where the grapes are transformed into fine wine must be special. This very idea was the cornerstone for those who founded the "Badagoni" winery in 2006. Badagoni owns two wineries in the fertile land of Kakheti - one is located in the village of Zemo Khodashen in the Akhmet district and the other in the village of Manavi in the Sagarejo district. During the construction of the winery, Badagoni management actively cooperated with world-renowned experts. The buildings, equipment and laboratory of the winery fully meet ISO standards. Badagoni winery located in Akhmeta is equipped with the most advanced technologies not only in Georgia, but also in Eastern Europe. It is equipped with the latest and unique microfiltration and bottling systems designed and installed by the leading Italian companies Bertolaso and Enotec, exclusively for Badagoni.
