Produced by the winegrower Archil Utiashvili, in the Tsinandli microzone, Kakheti, in the village Shalauri in 1969, from the best quality grapes of the Kishi and Kakhuri green varieties grown in 1969, according to modern and ancient Georgian traditional technology. Together with chacha-claret, it is amber-colored, characterized by a lively, full-bodied, velvety taste. Gentle tones of apple, peach and dried fruit are harmoniously balanced with a long aromatic aftertaste.

My name is Archil Utiashvili, a winemaker-grower, the founder of Telavi Old Winery LLC, which I founded in 2011. My main goal is to create high quality wines. I use grapes from my own vineyard to make wine. In 2010, I bought a vineyard with Rkatsiteli and Saferavi vines, which was planted in 1970 in Kakheti, Tsinandli micro-zone, Telavi, village in Kurdglauri, 510 meters above sea level. Since 2014, I have been using only biological and ecologically clean means and methods for vineyard care. To ensure the quality of the wine I attach special importance to the agro-technological works of vineyard maintenance and grape quality control, which are essential for the production of my wine.
