Brand History

The Anno Domini winery is named after the year 47 AD (AD 47 is Latin for "47 AD"). It was in this year that Emperor Claudius completed the construction of one of the most important highways of ancient Rome. The road was of such great importance for the communications of the vast empire that it was named after Claudius Augusta. Today, 25 hectares of 47 Anno Domini vineyards are located on both sides of the historic road that runs through the entire winery. The winery is conveniently located just a few kilometers from the Adriatic coast and quite close to the historic center of Treviso - the area dedicated to the production of Piavian wines.
